Go 1.27.1 and 1.26.8 ship as point releases
Go 1.27.1 and 1.26.8 are out as minor point releases, so it is a patch-and-move-on kind of day unless the release notes surface something that touches your build. Around the edges, a developer walks through building HaloLog, a Go logger clocked at 23.9 ns/op, and then tries to poke holes in the claim themselves, which is a healthier posture than most benchmark posts manage. Also worth a glance: a demo of a fully local in-browser chat model wired up through WebAssembly compiled with TinyGo.
